Arts & Older People Funding Programme (England)

The Baring Foundation has teamed up with the Arts Council England to launch a new £1 million Arts and Older People funding programme.  The programme aims to support partnerships between arts oganisations and artists with those helping the elderly in care homes to deliver interesting enjoyable and interactive arts experiences for their residents. The learning from this will be made available to the wider arts and residential care communities to understand how best to engage with older people.  The Arts Council are seeking proposals from partnerships or consortia led by either residential care providers or arts organisations to deliver a three year-programme providing access to high quality arts experiences for older people in residential care.  Applications must be submitted no later than 11am on the 14 August 2013….
