Communitybuilders Fund | Large scale capital loan investment funding for deprived neighbourhoods

Communitybuilders are looking for up to six established organisations that are promising examples of sustainable, community regeneration projects in England to be pioneer investees of the new era of the Communitybuilders Fund.

Investment of £250,000 – £750,000 is available. Communitybuilders is primarily a loan fund and investments will have a minimum 80% loan element. Communitybuilders will charge an interest rate of 5% on the loan.

Funding can be used for:

   Property renovations and refurbishments

   Property or land purchases (and some related fees like architects and surveyors)

   Purchase of vehicles

   IT equipment

   Fixtures and fittings.

Organisations must be able to demonstrate impact in their communities and have credible plans for financially sustainable initiatives that can become flagship investees for Communitybuilders.

Communitybuilders are particularly interested in supporting community anchors based in England’s most deprived neighbourhoods or those that can demonstrate financial contributions from their community.
