Barclays Community Sports Award: £1,000 to recognise the achievements of individuals who have used sport to benefit their community.

The Barclays Community Sports Award is back for 2011/2012. The awards recognise the achievements of individuals who have used any sport to benefit their community.

Each month during the Barclays Premier League football season, a winner will receive £1,000 for their group or organization.

 Monthly winners are entered into the end of season award to win a further £5,000. The end of season award winner will also receive a VIP trip to London to receive their award from Gareth Southgate.

The award is being delivered in partnership between Barclays Spaces for Sports, the Premier League’s Creating Chances programme and the Football Foundation.
